Ceremonies & Legalities Getting Married In Portugal

There are two ways of doing this. One is easy, doing all the legalities first in your home country and the other is doing the legalities in Portugal.

Our recommendation, is that the most straightforward method, is for you do the legal side back home and then come over to Portugal  and have a Wedding ceremony with one of our Priests or non religouse celebrantes. Your guests need not know that you have already done this as the Wedding ceremony is performed just like a normal marriage and can be performed at the church or venue of your choice

If you decide to do the legal part here in Portugal, as your wedding planner, I can handle the preparation of the paperwork on your behalf. The requirements are different for each person and change according to your country of origin. Once the documents are ready to be handed into the registry office the couple needs to be present. Email us and we will let you know all the requirements, what documents you need to provide and cost, mailto:info@algarveblessings.com
